About Dr Florentine de Raaij

Florentine is a BPS, BACP and HCPC registered Counselling Psychologist. Florentine completed her doctorate at City University of London. Within therapy, Florentine uses a variety of approaches, with the client's needs guiding the approach taken. Her aim is to offer a safe space and to support you from an open, sensitive, non-judgemental and sometimes challenging approach. She believes that therapy sessions are designed to collaboratively explore personal issues and provide clients with the tools to help them cope with the challenges they are facing. Florentine has experience of working with NHS IAPT, forensic and private practice settings. Currently, she solely works within the private practice sector. Florentine has experience of working with a range of presentations, including: depression, anxiety, trauma (including complex trauma), relationship difficulties, personal and work related stress, as well as identity challenges. Florentine offers remote (video) sessions to individuals above the age of 18. She works in both English and Dutch.
